Junior (2015-16): Appeared in 10 events for St. Edward’s, tallying an 80.4 scoring average in 21 rounds of action…produced one top-10 finish and one top-5 finish…started the year off with a third-place finish at the Lady Cardinal Classic (9/14-15) as she shot six-over par.
Sophomore (2014-15): Appeared in six events, capturing a 82.2 scoring average in 13 rounds of work…shot a season-best 77 at the GolfWeek Fall Invitational…best finish was a tie for 30
th at the St. Edward’s Invitational.
Freshman (2013-14): In her first year as a Hilltopper she competed in six rounds of golf registering an 81.3 scoring average…complied a win-loss record of 122-100 (.550)…had a season-best finish of a tie for 16
th at Dallas Baptist Classic, where she also shot a season-best 77 during that tournament.
Prep: Lettered four years at Salpointe Catholic High School in Tucson, Ariz.…helped her team finish third and fourth in state during the 2009 and 2010 seasons…Southwest International Junior team captain in 2010…named to the first-team all-Southern Arizona from 2010-12…her team won back-to-back state titles in 2011 and 2012…these were the first two titles in school history…finished in the top-six at the state tournament and was team captain in 2012…graduated with honor roll honors and a part of the Humanities Organization.
Personal: Brianna Marie Vogel was born on Dec. 23, 1994…daughter of Chanda Vogel of Tucson, Ariz…plans to study kinesiology at St. Edward’s with career hopes of becoming an Athlmajoring in digital media management…her hobbies include playing golf and writing…her biggest athletic thrill is making a hole-in-one at the Austin Country Club.
