Junior (2014): Appeared in 14 matches while making four starts…tallied two goals and two assists off of seven shots…scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Texas A&M-Commerce (9/19)…also put the game away with a goal versus Newman (10/11) in a 2-0 win.
 
Sophomore (2013): In her second season she played in 15 matches, starting in five of them…she recorded seven shots on goal for two goals on the year…her second goal came against Texas A&M-Commerce (11/15) when she helped the Hilltoppers advance to the second round of NCAA Tournament.
 
Freshman (2012): During her first season with the Hilltoppers she played in 15 matches while starting one of them…played in a total of 568 minutes…recorded nine total shots with three of them reaching the goal...totaled five points on the year with one goal and three assists…her lone goal came against Texas A&M-International (10/27).

Prep: Lettered all four years at McCallum High School in Austin, Texas…helped her team to a 17-1-2 overall record, a district championship and a second round playoff berth during her freshman year…earned second-team all-district honors during her sophomore year…went undefeated that year with a 16-0-2 record and a second-consecutive trip to the second round of the playoff…was the top goal scorer on her team…during her junior year she was voted to the all-district first-team as well as the Marble Falls All-Tournament Team…once again the top goal scorer for the team and guided her team to another playoff berth…a captain during her senior year on the team…was an academic all-district performer her sophomore and junior seasons…helped lead her club team (Lonestar ‘94G ENCL) to a state championship in 2010.
 
Personal: Ari Garcia was born on Feb. 17, 1994…daughter of Atanasio and Juana Garcia of Austin, Texas…has one sibling: David (26)…studying kinesiology at St. Edward’s and hopes to become a physical therapist…enjoys going to church and being with her two dogs Lucky and Willy…also like to watch NBA games, especially her favorite team, the Boston Celtics…her biggest athletic thrill is being a part of such a competitive team, and hopefully having a run towards the national championship.
