Capri Davis joined the St. Edward’s athletic department as the assistant volleyball coach in the summer of 2023.
Davis played for two years at the University of Nebraska. She was a member of the 2018 team that finished as the runner-up in the NCAA Tournament, contributing five kills on .500 hitting in the championship match.
She transferred to the University of Texas, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development in 2022.
After earning her degree, Davis worked with Austin Juniors Volleyball and assisted the top 18s team that qualified in the 18 Open Division. She worked extensively with pin attackers to develop their all-around game. Every team member has committed to playing collegiately at the Division I or II level, with a few standouts set to attend Ohio State, Notre Dame, and LSU.
In her prep days, Davis played club volleyball for Texas Image and Drive Nation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, was an Under Armour First Team High School All-American, and was ranked a Top 25 recruit by PrepVolleyball.com.
