A four-year letterwinner for head coach Meg Turner at Owasso High School…named first-team all-conference all four years and all-state her senior season…was a four-year starter, named team MVP three times, All-Tulsa Metro and Tulsa Metro Player to Watch twice, and MaxPreps Player of the Week…also named to Vype Magazine All-Conference Team and USAV Phenom selection as a junior…named academic all-conference all four years, while helping lead her team to the state playoffs three out of her four years…tallied 355 kills, 383 digs, 64 blocks, 96 assists and 22 aces her senior season…won club volleyball silver and bronze at the Denver Crossroad…took home bronze from the Show Me Qualifier…won bronze at the USAV Nationals…also competed in basketball…member of the National Honor Society and placed third in the Oklahoma State Mathematics Contest … National Honor Society … Top 10 Percent graduate … Placed third in the Oklahoma State Mathematics competition

Katie Hendrix was born on October 25, 1996…daughter of Tony and Laura Hendrix…has two siblings: Mallory and Sophie…plans to major in biochemistry as a pre-med student at St. Edward’s with hopes of attending medical school…hobbies include: volleyball, church, tennis, movies, and knitting…biggest athletic thrill is making a comeback for the win.
