Yancy Flores joined the St. Edward's athletics department as the assistant sports information director in August of 2023.
Flores joins the St. Edward’s athletics department after a year as the assistant director of athletics communications and operations at McMurry University, where she helped coordinate video and media board content to enhance the game day experience. She also helped coordinate external game day staff and was the department's NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee liaison.
Before McMurry, Flores was a Texas Woman’s University graduate assistant from August 2020 through May 2022, helping the program expand from a single-camera to a four-camera live stream broadcast. She received her Master’s in Business Administration in 2022 and her Bachelor’s of Science in Strategic Communication from Howard Payne in 2019.
