St. Edward's University Athletics

After being named a Preseason All-American, St. Edward's Senior Goalkeeper KEVIN LEIB lived up to his billing in week one as he was named Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.
 
Leib helped lead St. Edward's to a 2-0 opening week. After leading the nation in goals-against average in 2015, Leib tallied two clean sheets in the opening weekend for the 14th-ranked Hilltoppers. The senior made two saves against Metro State and one more against No. 6 Colorado Mines. The Hilltoppers started the season with two big road wins against RMAC opponents. The award was Leib's sixth of his career.
