St. Edward's sophomore OLIVIA BURDICK was named Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week Monday for the first time in her career.
 
Burdick was outstanding in the circle, tossing 9.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision against Oklahoma Christian. The righthander allowed just six hits while striking out six batters and holding opposing batters to a .188 batting average. On the season, Burdick leads the Hilltoppers with a 2.47 ERA and a .228 batting average against.
