Easterling was named Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week of March 31-April 6.

Easterling continued his torrid pace of throwing his second-straight shutout, in a victory against UA Fort Smith. He struck out 11 batters and walked one while scattering three hits over seven innings of work. Easterling is 6-4 on the year with a 0.88 ERA.
