St. Edward's University Athletics

Kevin Leib was named Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 17-23.

Leib led the Hilltoppers to three wins last week to improve St. Edward's record to 4-2 overall against regional opponents. Leib recorded two shutouts in three games and his goals against average versus Texas A&M International, West Texas A&M, and Eastern New Mexico was 0.33. Leib’s save percentage was even more impressive at .938 while making 15 saves and facing 44 shots on goal over the week. He now has three shutouts in six games this season.
