Hilltopper Junior goalkeeper JOHN KASCHAK was named Heartland Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday for the week of October 8 – 14. This is his first player of the week award for the 2012 season.
 
Kaschak preserved two wins to help the Hilltoppers remain in first place of the Heartland Conference standings. Kaschak recorded his eighth shutout of the year as he controlled his backline. This was the eighth shutout in the last 10 games for the Hilltoppers.
