St. Edward’s volleyball player Kelly Jimenez was named Heartland Conference Libero of the Week on Monday by the conference office, for the week of Oct. 20-26. This is the first weekly award for the Hilltoppers this season.
 
Jimenez led the Hilltoppers (15-5, 9-3 HC) on the back row this past week when she averaged 7.2 digs per set, while committing only one reception error out of 93 attempts. Her best match came against Newman when she dug out 36 balls in a three set match. the 36 digs set the Hilltopper school record for digs in a three-set match.
