Junior (2013): In her first season on the Hilltop…led the team with 111 sets played…appeared in all 30 matches for the Hilltoppers…tallied a team high 535 total digs which was fifth most in the conference…finished third in the conference with 35 service aces…registered two double-doubles in kills and assists…season-high of 33 digs versus Tarleton State (10/22).
 
Sophomore 2012 (Northwestern State): Competed in all 33 matches and 122 sets in her second season with Northwestern State…finished third on the team with 291 digs…recorded a career-high 20 digs at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Oct. 4, 2012…had three aces for a personal best against Stephen F. Austin at the SLC Tournament (11/16)…reached double figures in the digs column 11 times and three times in the kills column.
 
Freshman 2011 (Northwestern State): Played in all 30 matches and played in all 115 sets in her freshman season with the Lady Demons…finished second on the team with 315 kills for a 2.74 kills per set average…also finished second with 1,131 attacks…registered 277 digs for an average of 2.41 digs per set which was good enough for third on the team…tallied her career-best of 16 kills against Texas State (10/8)…had a personal best outing with 15 digs at the SLC Tournament (11/11)…hit a career-high mark of .467 vs. Alcorn State (9/16).
 
Club: Played her club volleyball for C.C. Wave.
 
Prep: Played four years of volleyball at Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas…helped her team win the district championship and advance to the second round of the playoffs from 2007-09…named to the 2009 Second-Team All-District Team…in 2010 she was named to the First-Team All-District Team, First-Team Corpus Christi Caller-Times All-South Team, honorable mention all-state…she was also a USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Championships All-American…was a two-time MVP at Carroll High School and a two-time Spikefest All-Tournament team honoree…earned the permanent Academic Honor Roll award…member of Student Council, Young Life, and FCA Clubs.
 
Personal: Kelly Renee Jimenez was born on Aug. 18, 1993…daughter of Tony and Sharon Jimenez of Corpus Christi, Texas…has two siblings Jessica (23) and Kaci (3)…Jessica played volleyball for Texas State…studying business administration at St. Edward’s…her hobbies include eating, shopping, and going to the beach…her biggest athletic thrill is winning.
