Junior (2015): Appeared in 21 matches, making six starts to total 57 sets…third on the team in assists with 209…tallied six matches with double-digit assists…produced her best match of the season with 25 assists and 17 digs against Dallas Baptist (9/29).
 
Sophomore (2014): Appeared in 11 matches and 22 sets for the Hilltoppers…collected 78 assists which ranked fourth on the team…added 33 digs and nine service aces…season highs in kills (1) and digs (9) came against Angelo State (10/24)…registered a season-best 13 assists against Oklahoma Panhandle (10/23).
 
Freshman 2013 (Houston): Played in 11 matches while attending the University of Houston…registered 98 assists while boasting an average of 3.63 assists per set…tallied a season-high 23 assists on the road against Memphis (10/13)…had a season-high seven digs against Temple (10/11).
 
Prep: Played her prep volleyball for Boulder City High School…compiled 2,312 career assists and 291 career aces…helped lead her team to four consecutive conference championships and three appearances in the state tournament…Wendy’s High School and State Winner National Finalist…three-time Boulder City High School most valuable player and named first-team all-state her senior year…holds the Nevada state volleyball records for service points in a game (25) and service points in a season (369)… played her Club Volleyball for Nevada Juniors.
 
Personal: Avalon Elizabeth Frantz was born Oct. 13, 1994…daughter of Kirk and Mary Frantz of Boulder City, Nev….has two siblings: Dylan and River…plans to study business management at St. Edward’s…her biggest athletic thrill was serving all 25 points of a game (25-0)…hobbies include cats, cooking and water skiing.
