Sophomore (2014): Took the court in 8 matches and a total of 12 sets with one start…collected six kills on the season with a season of high of two coming against Oklahoma Panhandle (10/23) and Huston-Tillotson (11/11)…totaled two digs, one against Lubbock Christian (11/6) and the second against Huston-Tillotson (11/11)…also added two block assists for the season.
 
Redshirt Freshman (2013): Appeared in two matches and played in five sets…registered two kills for the season…totaled four digs for the season including a season high three digs against McMurry (9/24).
 
Freshman (2012): Redshirted the season.
 
Prep: Competed four years at Metro Christian Academy…2012 Cleveland Invitational all-tournament team…was named the MCA offensive player of the year and to the Skiatook Invitational all-tournament team her sophomore through senior seasons…her senior season she was named MCA most valuable player and varsity captain…in her freshman season she was a member of the USA volleyball select A2 high performance team and Bishop Kelly invitational all-tournament team… played on the Club ONE Volleyball team for five years…team finished first at Show Me National Qualifier, third Big South National Qualifier and fifth at USA Junior Volleyball Championships…team was 2010 regional champions.actively involved in high school as the student body vice president, and junior class vice president.
 
Personal: Jessica Faith Bushong was born on Oct. 24, 1994…daughter of Ralph and Dainele Bushong of Tulsa, Okla…has two siblings: Jacob (16) and Juliana (13)…a marketing & public relations major with career aspirations of becoming a business owner…perfectly connecting on a block & watching it fall to the floor is her biggest athletic thrill.
