St. Edward’s University Men’s Soccer Goalie was named the Heartland Conference-Defensive player of the week on Monday by the conference office, for the week of Aug. 31-Sept. 6. The honor marks the first for St. Edward’s this season and the fourth of Lieb’s career.
 
The senior goalkeeper led the Toppers to an undefeated opening weekend against #4 Colorado Mesa and Fort Lewis. Leib produced two shutouts, collecting six saves in the process. Leib played the entire 200 minutes in goal for St. Edward’s.
