WACO, Texas – Junior goalkeeper Lorrie Santoy was named Heartland Conference-Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season by the league office on Monday. The Georgetown, Texas native garnered the award for the week of Oct. 19 – Oct. 25.
 
Santoy led the Hilltoppers to two victories this past week by tallying four saves in two shutouts against Heartland Conference opponents. The junior played all 180:00 minutes in goal for St. Edward’s. She ranks second with eight shutouts on the season and has not given up a goal in over 270 consecutive minutes of play. This marks the third weekly award for St. Edward’s Women’s Soccer this year.
