St. Edward's University Athletics

Shin helped St. Edward's to a conference-opening sweep of UT-Permian Basin. The junior transfer from Nebraska dominated his opponent at No. 2 singles with a 6-0, 6-3 win. In doubles he teamed up with Ricardo Pineda, the duo fought back after trailing 7-4 to win 9-7. Against Tyler Junior College, the No. 3 team in the country, Shin took the No. 5 singles player in NJCAA to three sets, falling just shy at 10-7 in the tiebreaker.
