Box Score LAREDO, Texas. – The St. Edward's women's soccer team beat Texas A&M International, 4-1 Saturday night at the TAMIU Soccer Complex.

JESSICA TRAVES, and Mikayala Engel each scored a goal. St. Edward's improves to 13-0-2 on the season and a perfect 8-0 in the Heartland Conference.
The Hilltoppers outshot the Dustdevils 13-3 for the match, but the Hilltoppers took just two attempts in the first half. Goalkeeper
DANIELLE LICARIONE made the save on an attempt by Dustdevil Jessica Parker in the second minute of action. St. Edward's was rewarded five cornerkicks in the first 13 minutes of action, but none resulted in a shot attempt.
Heller put the Hilltoppers up 1-0 when she chipped in a loose ball that Dustdevil goalkeeper Anna Martinez missed. Heller was assisted by Trapani. This was Heller's seventh goal of the season while Trapani now has five assists on the year.
Two yellow cards were called against the Dustdevils in the first half. Sam Zerilli was carded in the 24
th minute while Crystal Zapien was carded in the 28
th minute. The Hilltoppers led 1-0 entering halftime.
St. Edward's offense was more aggressive in the second half, taking 11 attempts. Both teams replaced goalkeepers in the second half with
LORRIE SANTOY entering for the Hilltoppers and Christina Morales entering for the Dustdevils. Morales made six saves in the half with the first on Traves' attempt in the 51st minute.
Morales saved another attempt by Traves in the 57
th minute and saved an attempt by
RACHEL MURRAY's in the 61
st minute. Trapani found the back of the net in the 64
th minute to give the Hilltoppers a 2-0 advantage. Trapani found the loose ball and put it in from 10 yards out to score her seventh goal of the year. Heller, Murray, and Trapani are now all tied for the team lead in goals.
St. Edward's was awarded a free kick in the 67
th minute.
ALLY LINDQUIST took the kick and found Traves, who fired the ball in from 10 yards out. This was Traves' first goal of the season.
Engel pushed the lead to 4-0 in the 83
rd minute when she followed up a deflection off the goalie.
TAYLOR SETTECERRI assisted on what was Engel's fourth goal of the year. Texas A&M-International prevented the shutout in the 87
th minute when Kim Garcia beat Santoy to the far post.
The Hilltoppers will conclude regular season play on Monday as they travel to San Antonio for Part Two of the "Battle of the Saints" against St. Mary's. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. Live stats and video will be available through the Rattler Athletic website.
