-The Hilltoppers jumped out to a 10-2 lead during the first 6:20 of play with buckets by
KELSEE BARR,
MONICA JAMES,
VALENCIA WHITE, and
ERIKA ROUSCULP.
- Samantha Chacon of TAMU-International caught fire during the first half scoring 14 of her game high 20 points during the first 20-minutes of play.
-Malika Jackson knocked in a trey with two seconds remaining in the half to send the Dustdevils to the locker room leading by seven, 30-23.
-The Hilltoppers opened the half on a 7-2 run to cut the lead, 32-30.
-St. Edward's cut the lead to one point on several occasions throughout the half but couldn't take the lead.
-Tina Dang scored all of 17 points during the second frame, including three shots from beyond the arc to seal the game.

-St. Edward's lost its fourth-straight game on Saturday, which is the worst losing streak of the season.
