How it happened
-The Falcons opened a 15-8 lead during the first five minutes of play. Nine of the 15 Falcon points came from beyond the arc.
-St. Edward's cut the lead to four points off a
DAWN KIEL three pointer. After the bucket by Kiel, the Falcons went on a 12-2 run to take a 15-point lead with 9:05 remaining.
-After being down by as many as 19 points,
VALENCIA WHITE cut the deficit to 14-points with a layup with 3:25 to go in the half. White knocked down another jumper with just 11-seconds remaining in the half. The Hilltoppers trailed 48-29 at the half.
-The Falcons saw their lead grow too as high as 32 points during the first 10 minutes of the second half.
-UT-Permian Basin would eventually cruise to a 93-61 victory.
