Box Score DENTON, Texas – The St. Edward's softball team dropped the second game of their best-of-3 series to Texas Woman's, 3-0. The Hilltoppers fall just short of a bid to the NCAA DII Softball World Series that was on the line.
 
St. Edward's (33-23) could not get anything going offensively for the game's entirety. The Hilltoppers would not have an inning that would produce more than one baserunner.
 
Texas Woman's (51-12) would score single runs in the first, third and sixth innings for the final margin. They would only end with five hits, but they used them wisely.
 
St. Edward's ends it season after advancing to the NCAA Regionals for the second-straight season. This season, they took it one step further, reaching the NCAA Super Regionals.
