DANIEL WAKEHAM down the left side. From 15 yards out, the forward struck a beautiful ball to the far post for a 1-0 Hilltopper lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-St. Edward's dominated the first half, outshooting Lubbock Christian, 12-2.

th minute, sophomore
HUNTER WILLIAMS scored his first goal as a Hilltopper. St. Edward's won a cornerkick. Senior
HAIDEN STILES sent his cross into the box, which the Chap goalkeeper was unable to control. Williams was there on the doorstep as he kneed the ball into the back of the net for a 2-0 SEU lead.
-In the second half, St. Edward's put the game away with its third goal of the match. Defender
ANTONIO ARANA sent a cross through the box, which freshman
CODY SPITZER corralled. A quick pass to the front post found Jackson, and the junior deposited it far post once again for his second goal of the match.
HILLTOPPER NOTES
-With the victory, St. Edward's increases its lead in the series to 3-1. After losing the first match of the series versus the Chaps in 2013, the Hilltoppers have won three-straight matches by a combined score of 7-1.
-After scoring five goals in 2015, Jackson was scoreless through the team's first six matches. His two goals today tie him for second on the team.
-The Hilltoppers outshot the Chaps, 19-2, and did not allow Lubbock Christian a single shot on goal.

"From start to finish, I thought the guys did a good job of following the game plan. We were able to get a lot of guys in the game and that gives them a chance to show what they can do in game action. I was also real proud of the guys for not allowing any shots in the second half. We possessed the ball well and were able to press them and get the ball back a lot."
