Newman (7-4-2, 4-3-2 HC) took an early lead in the 5' on a goal from Rosa Urista-Chico. However, the Hilltoppers (7-2-4, 5-1-3 HC) tied the game at 1-1 in the 8' as
CHIDERA ARIRIGUZO scored her first-career goal.
INDIA WENTZ passed the ball from the left side into the box and Aririguzo headed it past the Jet's goalkeeper.
SEU and Newman combined for 23 shots with eight on goal in the remaining 100 minutes of play, but could not find the game-winner. St. Edward's goalkeeper
