THE RUNDOWN
DALLAS, Texas – In the final meet before the postseason begins, St. Edward's University placed fourth on the women's side and fifth on the men's side at Saturday's University of Dallas Invitational.

SEU head coach David Chandler rested his top runners in the 5K race in preparation for next week's Heartland Conference Championship meet, and the Hilltoppers were the only NCAA Division II school represented.

AMELIA BARRETT highlighted SEU's individuals with a fourth-place finish behind a time of 20:48.84. On the men's side, NICK GENIN was the Hilltoppers' top finisher placing 15th with a time of 18:11.73. McMurry University won both the men's and women's races.

HIGHLIGHTS
• SEU's women placed fourth out of five teams with 75 points.
• KAITLYN STARK joined Barrett (4th) in top-10 finishers with a ninth-place finish crossing with a time of 21:22.79.
• SEU's men placed fifth out of seven teams with 123 points.
• NICK GENIN (15th) was joined in the top 30 by FINN BREMNER (18th) and Nick Barrett (29th).

STAT OF THE MEET I
3 – Amelia Barret collected her third top-10 finish of the season with her season's best fourth-place finish.

WHAT'S NEXT
St. Edward's will compete in the Heartland Conference Championships Saturday in Wichita, Kan. at the Cessna Activity Center. The men will run an 8K race with the women competing in a 6K.
