No. 12 WSOC Drops Road Match at DBU

DALLAS –
The No. 12-ranked St. Edward's University women's soccer team dropped its first Heartland Conference match of the season Saturday as it fell to Dallas Baptist, 2-1, at Patriot Soccer Field.

Senior VIKTORIA MALMROS gave the Hilltoppers (7-2-3, 5-1-2 HC) a 1-0 lead in the 20' off of a corner kick from MADISON TUMICKI. The SEU defense would hold strong, carrying the one-goal advantage into halftime.

Dallas Baptist (8-3-1, 6-1-1 HC) tied the game in the 59' on a goal from Lindsay McManus. Then, the Patriots took the lead in the 82' on a strike from Abigail Olmos.

St. Edward's finished the match with three shots – all on goal.
