AUSTIN, Texas – St. Edward's University head women's tennis coach Kendall Brooks announced the signing of Iolanda Perim Thursday on the second day of the early NCAA signing period.

Perim's National Letter of Intent was finalized Thursday morning and she will join the Hilltoppers in the fall of 2018.

"I am beyond thrilled that Loli will be continuing her career for us here on The Hilltop," said Brooks. "She is playing great tennis and has just begun scratching the surface of her potential. I have been fortunate to watch her grow up, and not only do I know she will be a great fit for our program and culture, but I'm excited to help her reach her goals at the next level. I think she will make an immediate impact and contribute in more ways than one."

Perim is listed at 5-9 and is ranked as the No. 16 player in Texas and 160th in the nation. She was born in Brazil and has earned a four-star rating on Tennisrecruiting.net.
