McNeil named LSC Offensive Player of the Week


RICHARDSON – St. Edward's junior MELISSA MCNEIL was named the Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday.

McNeil led the Hilltoppers to a five-set win over then-No. 23 Tarleton State last Saturday. The League City native posted a match-high 22 kills with 15 digs and one service ace in the upset victory. She amassed 24.5 points and hit at a .296 clip during the contest.

St. Edward's returns to place on Friday at Cameron. First serve is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in Lawton, Oklahoma.
