PERMIAN BASIN, Texas - St. Edward's volleyball dropped the front end of their long road trip 3-0 to UT Permian Basin Thursday.
The Hilltoppers hit just .141 for the match but were in striking distance in all three sets, losing 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.
ALEXA MCANDREW and
MELISSA MCNEIL led with 12 kills each while
EMILY TRAN posted a team-high 16 assists.
CAMILLE DEDEAUX led defensively with 15 digs with
MADISON HEALD chipping in 11.
The Hilltoppers fall to 7-6 on the year and 2-3 in conference action while UTPB improves to 11-3 overall. SEU heads to Western New Mexico for their next contest, taking on the Mustangs at 1 pm on Saturday.
