AUSTIN – ALEXA MCANDREW posted a match-high 17 kills to lead St. Edward's to a four-set win over rival St. Mary's on Friday night at the RCC. The Hilltoppers won the match by scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-15 and 25-13.

McAndrew was one of three seniors that St. Edward's honored prior to the match. HAILEY REIER and OLIVIA ROME also were lauded during Senior Day festivities.

The Hilltoppers posted 11 total blocks and limited the Rattlers to a .014 hitting percentage in the contest.

On the offensive side, St. Edward's hit .230 and amassed 53 winners. KATARINA MENDEZ joined McAndrew in double figures with 10 kills. MADISON HEALD and EMILY TRAN each handed out 22 assists apiece.

NIKKI GRANT was one of four Hilltoppers to post double-digit digs, as she collected 19. Tran completed a double-double with 11 digs, as did McAndrew with 10 stops. McNeil had 11 digs as well.

St. Edward's (15-7, 10-4 LSC) will host Angelo State on Friday, Nov. 8. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
