TEMPE, Ariz. – Four St. Edward's student-athletes appeared in the first ITA South Central Region rankings, which were released on Wednesday.
KATE MALAZONIA led a trio of Hilltoppers in the singles rankings, as the sophomore from Birmingham, England, was ranked sixth.
LARA SCHMID, a freshman from Überlingen, Germany, was ranked 14th, while
LOLI PERIM, a sophomore from Sao Paulo, Brazil, was No. 15.
Meanwhile, Malzonia and freshman
ZOE DUFF were ranked ninth in the doubles rankings.
St. Edward's will open its spring campaign on Jan. 31 against Concordia Texas.
