ALEXA MCANDREW wrapped up her career by surpassing the 1,000 kills milestone.
McAndrew, a native of Eureka, Mo., accomplished the feat in a Lone Star Conference match against Texas A&M International on Nov. 15. The 5-foot-10 outside hitter concluded her career with 1,028 kills. She is the 11th player in program history to reach the 1,000-kill milestone.
McAndrew was a two-time first-team all-conference honoree. She also was named to the Heartland Conference All-Tournament team a year ago.
The Hilltoppers concluded the 2019 season with an 18-9 overall record. St. Edward's also tallied a 13-5 LSC mark and won its division. The 'Toppers advanced to the LSC Tournament as the No. 3 overall seed, but dropped a quarterfinal match to UAFS in four sets.
