AUSTIN – St. Edward's will meet Hawai'i Pacific in the NCAA Division II Round of 16, it was announced on Wednesday. The matchup will take place at 7 a.m. (CT), Wednesday, May 22 at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
The Hilltoppers (19-5) earned the No. 12 seed, while the Sharks (14-5) received the fifth seed. The winner of the match will advance to play the winner of the tilt between No. 5 seed Columbus State and 13th-seeded West Virginia State at 8 a.m. (CT) on Thursday, May 23.
The national semifinals are slated for 8 a.m. (CT) on Friday, May 24, while the national championship will be played at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.
St. Edward's is in the Division II Round of 16 for just the second time in program history and first time since 2009. In their lone Round of 16 appearance, the Hilltoppers dropped a 5-1 decision to Armstrong Atlantic.
