AUSTIN – St. Edward's Head Coach Andre Cook recorded his 300
th career collegiate win Saturday as the No. 6 Hilltoppers defeated Texas A&M International 94-68. The win improves SEU to 16-1 on the season and 10-1 in the Lone Star Conference while the Hilltoppers remain unbeaten at home.

St. Edward's jumped out to an eight-point advantage in the first five minutes and were quickly up by 18, 28-10, with 11:22 to play in the first half. The Dust Devils were able to cut it to 10, 32-22, with 6:20 remaining in the first, but the Hilltoppers were able to take a 15-point lead into the locker room at halftime, 51-36.

DORIAN LOPEZ's three-pointer three minutes into the second half gave SEU their first 20-point lead of the contest and the Hilltoppers never looked back, watching their lead balloon to 30 points, 81-51, with just under seven minutes remaining before closing out the win.

SEU earned 36 points off 29 Dust Devil turnovers.
ASHTON SPEARS led all scorers with 20 points as St. Edward's shot 50.8 percent from the floor.
RYAN GARZA and Lopez chipped in 14 points each while
JAKE KRAFKA added 11.
AUGUST HAAS had six assists with Spears posting five steals.

St. Edward's will next head to San Angelo, Texas to face Angelo State on Thursday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m.
