LUBBOCK, Texas – St. Edward's cross country closed their 2020 campaign with a seventh place finish at the DII National Invitational with 182 points and an average time of 24:36.54.
KAITLYN STARK led the way on a challenging course, finishing in 27
th place with a time of 23:34.65.
FAITH BROTHERS was the only other top-50 finisher for the Hilltoppers, posting a time of 24:21.90 to come in 46
th place.
MARCELA PERCHES was close behind with a time of 24:29.59 while
ELLIE HOVRE finished in 24:34.39.
Dallas Baptist won the team title with 51 points while West Texas A&M's Florance Uwajeneza won the individual title with a time of 21:38.92.
EVERARDO ESPARZA posted a time of 35:23.65 in the men's 10K race to finish in 76
th place. His time is the ninth fastest 10K time in SEU history.
