AUSTIN - Angelo State had bases loaded in each of the first three innings and scored multiple runs to take an early lead on the Hilltoppers as St. Edward's fell 10-1 Tuesday.
The Rams scored two in the first, five in the second and three in the third to take a commanding 10-0 lead, all on justt eight hits. As the game rolled into the seventh inning, SEU's offense had been held quiet and the run rule loss seemed inevitable.
