"We are extremely happy for Blake and his family," said Head Coach Rob Penders. "He will represent our program well as he progresses in his professional career. The Tigers picked up a player who isn't close to his full potential yet, so it will be fun to watch Blake's career and see how far he can go. We wish him all the best, and we are proud as a program to place another Hilltopper into professional baseball."

Holub was an ABCA Second Team All-Region, NCBWA Second Team All-Region and D2CCA First Team All-Region selection, earning honors as both a pitcher and designated hitter. He led the Hilltoppers on the mound and at the plate this year with a 2.56 earned run average and .349 batting average. He logged a team high 77 strikeouts on the mound while posting a team high 13 doubles at the plate.

A second team all-conference selection, Holub is seventh all-time at St. Edward's in career ERA (3.10) and ninth all-time in career strikeouts (181).
