ODESSA, Texas – St. Edward's volleyball wrapped up its weekend road trip with a loss to Texas Permian Basin, falling 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.
LAUREN SCOTT led the Hilltoppers with ten kills and three block assists, totaling 11.5 points.
JORDAN CHAPMAN and
JAIDEN LAVANWAY combined for 20 assists, with Chapman posting 11 assists and the Hilltoppers hitting .092 as a team. Libero
SARAH KONOVODOFF posted 14 digs, and
CORA YOUNG had five block assists.
Gloria Geurin led UTPB with ten kills, three block assists, and a service ace for 12.5 points. Aaliyah Gray added nine kills on a .242 hitting percentage with nine digs. Gabby Gregorski posted a match-high 15 digs, and April Egwu had six block assists.
The Hilltoppers drop to 7-15 with a 3-7 conference record. St. Edward's will host Texas A&M University-Kingsville on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
