The 2023 NCAA Division II Softball Tournament field was announced today, with St. Edward's earning its first NCAA Regional appearance since the 2014 season. 

The Hilltoppers will play in the South Central 1 Region hosted by the Lone Star Conference Champion Texas-Tyler Patriots and a four-team field comprised completely of Lone Star Conference teams. The Patriots are the top seed, followed by no. 4 seed Oklahoma Christian, Lubbock Christian, and St. Edward's is the no. 8 seed. 

St. Edward's will face Texas-Tyler for the fifth time this season, most recently in the second round of the LSC Tournament. The Hilltoppers and Patriots will play at noon.

All games will be broadcast on the Lone Star Conference Digital Network.
