AUSTIN, Texas – The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly volleyball awards, naming St. Edward's sophomore
ALTHEA MORRIS its Setter of the Week for her performances in wins over Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M International.
Last week, Morris led the LSC in assists per set, orchestrating an offense that led the conference in hitting percentage (.310). Morris set a balanced attack with three attackers in the top 10 in hitting percentage for the week, a leader in kills per set, and the team lead for kills per set.
Morris had a double-double of 48 assists and 16 digs to go along with three blocks to fuel a four-set win over Texas A&M-Kingsville. Morris is third in the conference in assists per set (9.06), tenth in aces per set (0.40), and sixth in overall assists (426).
