AUSTIN, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced its 2025 Volleyball All-Conference Team on Thursday, recognizing St. Edward's standouts KELLI FORDING, MIA CLAY, and ALTHEA MORRIS for their postseason performances.

Fording earned All-LSC Second Team, capping a breakout junior campaign in which she led the Hilltoppers with 247 kills and ranked seventh in the conference at 3.43 kills per set. She also finished seventh in aces per set (0.39), added 18 block assists and five solo blocks, and closed the year fourth in the LSC in points per set at 4.01.

"The jump Kelli made this season is a testament to the work she started putting in last spring, kept it going in the summer, and showed up in August with a vengeance," head coach Jeremy Garcia said. "To be one of the best point scorers in a league as deep as the LSC, we are so proud Kelli is on our team."

Morris was named All-LSC Honorable Mention for the second straight year after steering the Hilltoppers' 5–1 offense. The sophomore setter from Los Angeles finished third in the conference in total assists (781) and assists per set (10.01). She also delivered 33 service aces—ranking fifth in the league—and produced 178 digs, second-most on the team.

"We believe Thea is one of the premier setters in our league, being one of the few who run a 5–1 offense," Garcia said. "Taking the reins of a new system, she was quick to buy in and execute. What makes Thea even more special is how she contributes across all phases of the game—being one of our best point scorers from the service line and one of our most consistent defenders."

Clay followed her All-LSC Freshman Team debut with All-LSC Honorable Mention recognition as a sophomore. She ranked third on the team with 165 kills, averaging 2.50 per set on a .236 hitting percentage, and closed her season on a surge—posting double-digit kills in six of her final nine matches, including a career-high 21 in the regular-season finale.

"Mia's growth, both on and off the court, has allowed her to continue to excel as one of the best young pin attackers in our league," Garcia said. "As our season progressed, she proved match by match that she belongs on the court as someone we can count on to not only score points, but do so efficiently."
Together, the trio anchored a Hilltoppers lineup that continued to build around young core contributors across every phase of the game.
