AUSTIN, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced its 2025 men's soccer postseason awards, naming St. Edward's forward FILIP ADAMSKI the Freshman of the Year and a member of the All-LSC First Team, headlining seven Hilltoppers to earn conference recognition.

Adamski led the Hilltoppers with six goals, including one game-winner, and added an assist for 13 total points. The redshirt freshman made an early impression, scoring three goals in an unbeaten week against No. 9 Fort Lewis College and MSU Denver.

Joining Adamski on the All-LSC First Team is sophomore CHRISTIAN MEZAS, who paced St. Edward's with 14 points on five goals and four assists. Mezas netted three game-winners on the year, including a dramatic strike with six seconds remaining to defeat Midwestern State — a performance that earned him LSC Offensive Player of the Week (Week 5) honors.

Defender PABLO ZAVALA earned All-LSC Second Team recognition, marking his second consecutive all-conference honor after landing on the third team as a freshman. Zavala started 11 of 12 games played, totaling 977 minutes anchoring the back line.

Midfielder SHUNJI WATANABE and defender IRVIN ABARCA each repeated as All-LSC Third Team selections. Watanabe started 16 of 17 matches and led the Hilltoppers with 1,264 minutes, contributing three goals and two assists. Abarca appeared in 14 matches with 13 starts, logging 1,073 minutes, and added a goal and an assist.

Graduate midfielder ARTHUR SOUZA and sophomore IZAIAH GARZA were both named to the LSC All-Academic Team. Souza, last year's LSC Academic Player of the Year, repeats as an academic honoree with a 4.0 GPA while pursuing his MBA, adding three goals and an assist on the pitch. Garza, a Finance major with a 4.0 GPA, contributed three goals while splitting time between forward and defender.

St. Edward's finished the regular season 8-5-4 overall and 6-2-2 in LSC play, securing the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament. The Hilltoppers will host Lubbock Christian in the LSC Semifinals on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Lewis-Chen Family Field.
