AUSTIN, Texas — The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) released its latest weekly NCAA Division II men's basketball rankings, moving St. Edward's up to No. 11 in the nation, up from No. 14.
St. Edward's (9-0) opens conference play undefeated for the first time since the 2014-15 season, having defeated Arlington Baptist 104-64 since the previous national rankings were released.
The Hilltoppers are the top-ranked field-goal percentage defense in the Lone Star Conference, and 14th in the nation, limiting opponents to 36.9 percent shooting, and third in the LSC in assists per game (16.7).

St. Edward's opens conference play at home on Thursday, Dec. 4, against Sul Ross State, followed by another home game on Saturday against Western New Mexico.
