St. Edward's Ranked No. 14 in latest NABC National Poll

AUSTIN, Texas – The National Association of Basketball Coaches revealed its latest NCAA Division II Men's National Ranking, listing St. Edward's (10-1, 1-1 LSC) No. 14 after the Hilltoppers split last week's conference-opening games. 
 
St. Edward's remains the top field goal percentage defense in the Lone Star Conference, limiting opponents to 38.4 percent shooting from the field and 28.5 percent from behind the 3-point line. The Hilltoppers also rank third in the LSC in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.55), assists per game (16.4), defensive rebounds (26.18), and 3-point attempts. 
 
Graduate point forward BLAKE NIELSEN leads the team, averaging 18.6 points on 47.1/33.3/78.4 shooting splits, along with 5.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Freshman point guard RYDER BRADLEY ranks third in the LSC in total assists (42), fifth in total points (157), and second in steals (26). 
 
St. Edward's will continue conference play this weekend, traveling to play UT Tyler on Saturday, December 13.
