This Week at the Hilltop, St. Edward's women's basketball celebrates 50 years as a program with its 50th-anniversary team unveiling, and both men's and women's basketball celebrate Senior Day. Softball opens conference play on the road, and baseball hosts Cameron at Lucian-Hamilton Field.
Women's Basketball (10-15, 6-10)
St. Edward's hosts the two Oklahoma teams this week. It opens against Cameron (1-16, 1-10) and Oklahoma Christian (4-13, 3-8).
Cameron is coming off a weekend split at home, blowing out Texas A&M International and losing to Texas A&M-Kingsville. The Aggies have three players averaging double figures, led by Alena Wilson's 19.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
St. Edward's defeated Cameron 83-76 in the previous meeting, getting big shots down the stretch from
ISABEL LANGENBERG and J.P. The weekend was part of the second-unit renaissance with
BAILEY FEATHERSTONE and

Oklahoma Christian (7-14, 4-13) snapped an eight-game losing streak in a 71-61 win over Texas A&M International. The Eagles are led by the one-two punch of Kate Bradley and Taylor Jackson, who both average 14 points per game. Bradley leads the team in assists at 3.0 per game, and Jackson leads the team with 8.3 rebounds.

Men's Basketball (15-10, 9-7)

The Hilltoppers own the head-to-head tiebreaker against Angelo State.
JAMISON KAY has emerged as St. Edward's leading scorer over the past four games. He averages 17.5 points per game and shoots .538 percent from the field. His increase in scoring isn't simply a matter of more finishing opportunities but increased responsibilities in playmaking. He has recorded 13 points over the past four games.
GAVINO RAMOS has found the balance between scoring and playmaking, averaging 15.3 points and 9.0 assists in the last two weeks. At the same time,
CONOR MCMANUS has been a flamethrower from deep, shooting 13-for-22 (.591 percent) from beyond the 3-point line the past four games.
In the previous meeting, St. Edward's defeated Cameron 82-63, but it lost by three to Oklahoma Christian due to a critical turnover in the closing minute.
Before Saturday's game, the Hilltoppers will celebrate seniors
JAKE DEFRANZA,
LUKE KISER,
GAVINO RAMOS,
LEWIS ROWE, student-assistants Romeo Davis and Jesus Cardoza, and alum
