St. Edward’s Athletics Announces NIL Partnership with Influxer

AUSTIN, Texas — St. Edward's University Athletics has announced a new partnership with Influxer, providing Hilltopper student-athletes with expanded Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities while equipping them with valuable branding and business experience that extends beyond competition. 
 
Hilltopper student-athletes will have access to Influxer's NIL platform, allowing them to create and sell officially licensed, personalized merchandise. The program enables student-athletes to earn compensation while developing their personal branding, marketing, and entrepreneurial skills. 
 
In addition to providing an online platform for student-athletes to create personalized St. Edward's-branded merchandise with no upfront costs or inventory management, Influxer also provides resources to educate student-athletes on topics ranging from social media marketing to taxes, contract reading, and more. 
 
"St. Edward's is committed to developing the whole person, and this partnership is another step in providing meaningful opportunities for our student-athletes' success," Director of Athletics Dr. Jim Sarra says. "Influxer gives our student-athletes the tools they need to build their personal brands, engage with the Hilltopper community, and gain real-world business experience. We're excited to offer another resource that empowers our student-athletes on the Hilltop and beyond." 
 
Influxer was founded in Dallas in 2022 to help student-athletes navigate NIL by presenting income opportunities, providing professional education, and supporting a future beyond collegiate athletics. It has grown to work with over 650 universities across all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA. 
 
"The NIL landscape is constantly evolving, and working with Dr. Jim Sarra, Andrew Haring, and the administration at St. Edward's has been an amazing opportunity, seeing the great options through Influxer for their student-athletes," Influxer Vice President Keith Miller says. "They see this as not simply a transactional opportunity, but as an opportunity to develop long-term skills for life." 
 
Fans, alumni, and supporters will soon have the opportunity to purchase officially licensed personalized merchandise from their favorite Hilltopper student-athletes through the Influxer platform.
 
The partnership reflects St. Edward's Athletics' continued commitment to providing student-athletes with innovative resources that support their personal, academic, and professional development, strengthen their connection to the Hilltopper community, and prepare them for future careers.
