KOBE JARAMILLO tossed eight shutout innings with six strikeouts and no walks to earn the season-opening win over West Texas A&M. Jaramillo scattered four hits – all singles – and did not allow a runner to advance to second base. The graduate student needed just 79 pitches to get through the eight frames of the 4-0 game.
Baseball travels to Eastern New Mexico for a four-game series this Friday through Sunda. The Greyhounds are 3-1 with a road series win over Texas A&M-Kingsville.
