Trevor Sebek and Katie Dillon Earn Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Awards

| By:
St. Edward's Athletics announced baseball's TREVOR SEBEK and softball's KATIE DILLON as the 2024-25 Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Scholar-Athletes during Tuesday night's awards ceremony and end-of-year banquet, the Goatspy Awards.

The Emma Lou Linn Outstanding Scholar Athletes Awards, a prestigious recognition established years ago by Psychology professor and SEU Hall of Famer Dr. Emma Lou Linn, underscore the importance of academic excellence in sports. This annual award honors the graduating male and female student-athletes with the highest cumulative GPA, a testament to their dedication and hard work.

Dillon is a three-year starter in right field for St. Edward's softball, a two-time LSC All-Academic Team selection, and has maintained a cumulative 4.0 GPA in her four-year career at the Hilltop. She will obtain her degree in Criminal Justice. She was not available to accept the award in person after leading softball to the LSC Tournament.

Sebek is a three-year starter for the baseball team and a 2024 LSC All-Academic Team selection. He will receive his degree in Business Administration with a 3.98 cumulative GPA.
