AUSTIN, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced its weekly volleyball awards, naming St. Edward's libero GISELLE OJEDA its Defensive Player of the Week for Week 10.

St. Edward's junior libero averaged 5.43 digs per set, leading a 2-0 week against West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico. Ojeda anchored a defense that limited opponents to a .123 hitting percentage. She recorded 21 digs in the sweep over West Texas A&M and added four assists and a service ace, helping the Hilltoppers win six straight matches and nine of their last 10.
