AUSTIN, Texas — The NCAA released its first numbered NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Regional Rankings on Wednesday, placing St. Edward's fifth in a South Central Region heavily represented by Lone Star Conference programs.
The Hilltoppers sit at 24-6 overall and 13-6 in conference play, with one regular-season test remaining. Thursday's finale at I-35 rival St. Mary's carries significant postseason implications, as the result could shift St. Edward's seeding between fifth and seventh in the upcoming Lone Star Conference Tournament.
The Lone Star Conference Tournament tips off Thursday, March 5, at Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. Individual
tickets and
suites are available through the
LSC Tournament page, with all games streamed on

The South Central Region is comprised of the Lone Star Conference and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, with each tournament champion earning an automatic NCAA Tournament berth. The remaining six spots in the regional field will be awarded at-large, determined by the final NCAA's regional rankings before the tournament.
