AUSTIN, Texas — The Lone Star Conference announced its 2026 Men's Basketball Postseason awards, recognizing St. Edward's
BLAKE NIELSEN,
JAMISON KAY, and
RYDER BRADLEY to its all-conference team, and
MASON COURTNEY to the All-Academic Team.
Nielsen earned All-LSC First Team after leading the Hilltoppers with 18.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, crossing the 1,000-point milestone at 1,357, and tied for first in program history with 466 career assists. The senior point forward finished third in the LSC in points per game and led the conference in assists per game.
Kay averaged 14 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game, hitting 50.8 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from the 3-point line and serving a key role in the league's second-best field goal percentage defense.
The LSC named Bradley its Freshman of the Year after the first-year point guard averaged 13.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, hitting 48.6 percent from the field and 34.1 percent from beyond the 3-point line, ranking fifth and sixth in the conference in assists and steals per game.
St. Edward's is the sixth seed in the Lone Star Conference and will play Lubbock Christian on Thursday at noon in the quarterfinals.
